In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below. Who May Be Considered:
Individuals who have obtained a qualifying Master's or Doctorate degree from a qualifying educational institution, within the previous 2 years. OR Individuals who will obtain a qualifying Master's, Professional, Doctorate, degree from a qualifying educational institution within 90 days from the date of application. Applicants must provide proof of degree conferral prior to appointment OR Veterans (as defined in 5 U.S.C. 2108) who were unable to apply within 2 years of obtaining a qualifying Master's or Doctorate degree from a qualifying educational institution due to their military service obligation. Veterans have a full 2-year eligibility period to apply upon his/her release or discharge from active duty. The eligibility period for veterans must be within 6 years of degree completion. Basic Requirement:
Masters or PhD Degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management. or Attention to Detail Customer Service Oral Communication Problem Solving Qualifying
Experience:
For the GG-09, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For the GG-09 position, qualifying experience is defined as experience assisting in the implementation of agency-level guidance for major information system programs. To qualify at the GG-11, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For the GG-11 position, qualifying experience is defined as experience assisting with analyzing new support requirements, developing information system techniques and making recommendations to develop telecommunication and automation resources/requirements, e.g., impacting agency worldwide systems. Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience and/or selective placement factor(s) within the body of their resume. All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
