SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

As a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST at the GS-0346-14 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Develops and manages enterprise policy, plans, programs and operations for all major logistics functions within DMA including supply storage, disposal and re-utilization, property accountability, distribution, transportation, fleet management, life cycle management and Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE) management. Manages and oversees all DMA inventory accounts, which together are valued in excess of $100 million and located at 35sites in the United States and 16 other countries throughout the world. Ensures that all logistics functions are carried out efficiently and effectively, and that plans, programs and priorities for these functions are aligned with, and support the organization's strategic goals and programs objectives and mission requirements, both current and projected. Develops proposed multi-year budget planning and annual operating budgets in support of logistics programs. Monitors execution of funded programs. Ensures that logistics plans are in place to maintain continuity of operations in the event of disruptions due to natural or man-made disasters, terrorist incidents or other circumstances. Serves as technical advisor for DMA Headquarters and field elements for ISSAs and MOUs. Establishes policy direction, program guidance, review and evaluation of logistics, acquisition and facilities management functions for DMA and subordinate activities. Qualifications:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service:
Managing and assisting with the development of logistics policy, procedures, processes and programs. Developing proposed multi-year budget plans and annual operating budgets in support of logistics programs. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
