To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-13), and is defined as:
planning, developing, and implementing projects across multiple information technology (IT) and information management (IM) disciplines; configuring, troubleshooting and maintaining hardware and software networks, to include SIPRNET, NIPRNET and JWICS; maintaining automated information systems (AIS) and implementing information assurance (IA) and communications security (COMSEC) programs. In addition to the required Specialized Experience, all positions in the 2210 series require the following
Experience:
IT-related experience demonstrating each of the following four competencies as defined:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
