BUDGET ANALYST

This is a GG-13 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-13 duties for the Professional work category are at the Full Performance work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job. In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management positions. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge and understanding of the DoD Planning, Programming and Budgeting Execution (PPBE) System, including regulatory foundation, policy, processes, products, terminology and documentation requirements. 2. Skill in selecting, adapting and applying financial analysis methods and techniques to provide customers within sight into application of fiscal resources to program plans and operations. 3. Demonstrated ability to contribute substantively to technical/functional leaders' line program planning and management by providing analytical findings and recommendations on resources planning and management challenges. 4. Ability to apply computerized fiscal planning and management systems, and standard office productivity software. 5. Skill in applying analytical methods governing Federal/DoD/USAF efforts to define, document and manage budgets; conduct budget analysis; prepare financial assessments, reports and studies; and adjust financial plans. 6. Ability to clearly communicate complex information on financial planning and management strategies and analytical findings. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
