Along with the CM Process Owner, the candidate will have strategic responsibility for the definition and implementation of CM processes.
They will conduct briefings and technical meetings for internal and external representatives and serve as consultant to management and special external spokesperson for the organization on major matters pertaining to its policies, plans, and objectives.
They will work with the other CM process owners and CM Managers within the organization to implement an enterprise-wide CM solution.
Leads or supervises a team of configuration management specialists.
Provides configuration baseline control throughout the life cycle of highly complex information systems as well as component software and hardware elements.
Facilitates and advises Configuration Control Boards (CCBs).
Maintains allocated, functional and physical baseline control and performs audit support.
Reviews all engineering change requests to assess impact upon configuration baseline and logistics support elements.
Maintains configuration control records and technical documents.
Works closely with quality assurance and management representatives to ensure accurate and well-documented product baseline.
Prepares directives for change authorization and implementation.
SERENA software exposure
The candidate must have experience in process design, CM coordination, and project management expertise in CM, risk management, and communication management in an enterprise environment.
The candidate must have expert knowledge of CM practices, expert knowledge of CM standards, and knowledge of tools used in implementing a successful CM program.
They must be skilled in application of CM requirements; and in creation of the CM plan.
They must have the ability to plan, monitor, and report on CM activities.
They must have experience in standing up a Configuration Control Board (CCB), tracking baselines, building media and writing/maintaining CM documentation such as CM Plans, charters, agendas, minutes, and Standard Operating Procedures.
They will establish strategic operational objectives and detailed tactical plans for achieving those objectives.
They will be responsible for the control of hardware, software, firmware and documentation produced or controlled by the company.
This includes formal baselines, and controls hardware/software configuration items, firmware, software, and documentation.
The ideal candidate must be able to interact, present and communicate with all levels of management within the organization and function at both the strategic level with upper management and across various divisions within the organization.
This person must be a flexible, self-motivated team player with a positive can do attitude.
They must have the ability to work with all levels of personnel from Program Manager, Project Manager, through development engineer.
They must have the ability to train others in CM requirements processes, and tools used to implement the CM process.
They will create communications/CM policy, plans, processes, and procedures supporting the execution of CM and maintain the feedback loops within and across program teams.
They will serve as an expert technical resource for change issues in the company.
They will demonstrate knowledge in the Configuration Management activities of Configuration Planning, Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Status Accounting, and Functional/Physical Configuration Audits.
They will develop and maintain policy, process and procedures to ensure that CM controls are
capable of supporting deployment activities and implementations to meet business needs.
They will understand the CM needs by meeting with, and listening, to stakeholders.
They will define tasks and activities of CM staff, clearly describing deliverables, roles and responsibilities for all stakeholders.
They will help to identify items to be placed under configuration control, including but not limited to hardware, software, firmware, documentation, scripts, etc.
In addition, they will make recommendations to define and identify operations baselines down to the level of the smallest controllable unit.
They will evaluate existing system configurations and recommend infrastructure changes to improve or enhance performance and maintainability.
They will participate in reviews to enforce and ensure configuration procedures are adhered to.
They must have experience in standing up a Configuration Control Board (CCB), writing / maintaining CM documentation such as CM Plans, charters, agendas, minutes, and Standard Operating Procedures.
CompTIA Security +, ITIL Foundation
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum 8+years' of Configuration Management experience or 12 years overall applicable experience.

Secret or TS cleared/SCI eligible Security Clearance

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
