The Senior Software Engineer - C/C+
will serve as software lead for a significant government task order using Agile SCRUM software development methods. Responsibilities will include serving as Scrum Master, guiding team members in solving difficult problems, reviewing code, enforcing standards, monitoring metrics, and collaboratively working with the team to upgrade processes and execution.
Candidates must demonstrate an understanding of the full Software Development lifecycle, agile development, leadership skills, and at least four years experience as a Software Development Manager.
The successful candidate is a software engineer with current skills in C and/or C+
programming, object oriented design, LINUX environments, familiarity with the theory of digital communication systems, and familiarity with analog and digital communication protocols relevant to RF communications. The successful candidate has a track record of technical leadership of software development teams utilizing agile techniques, an understanding of RF signal analysis and possesses relevant experience in intelligence community programs. Required experience includes design, code development, software integration, test and debugging of system software in an agile development environment.
The Senior Software Engineer - C/C+
position requires a bachelors degree in a specialized area or equivalent field and eight to ten years of related experience; or masters degree and six to eight years of related experience.
Department of Defense TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Relevant experience with Software Defined Radio (SDR) frameworks and standards such as Software Communications Architecture (SCA) and GNU Radio.
Knowledge of Python, JAVA, digital signal processing techniques and digital signal processing algorithms.
Experience with FPGA technology and tools.
Technical Certification such as a Scrum Master, JAVA programming certificate is desired.
