Description :
As a contract Systems Engineer Level 3, you will provide in-depth technical evaluation of the government customer''s data architecture design. You will gather technical data on the capabilities of various in-memory and disk-resident data stores and participate in the customer''s database trade studies. In particular, you will assist in a trade study between MySQL and PostgreSQL, and assess the use of Camel in middleware.
Required Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor''s degree in a technical discipline, and at least 12 years of experience in technical program management and/or as a system development team lead.
The clearance level required is dependent on the type of clearance supported by our client.
Qualifications:
A Master''s degree is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of/experience in the following areas is also highly desirable:
Accumulo cloud ingestion, data query, and result set extraction techniques and methods.
Data modeling and applications/system design from conceptual/notional model to integrated physical model.
Understanding of processing, transaction, and access load balancing techniques and constructs in a distributed environment.
Understanding of distributed data ingestion, data transformation/normalization, applied use of data dictionaries and data fusion/aggregation techniques across multiple disparate data sources.
Understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns and Enterprise Application Integration frameworks, leveraging process and events based Middleware, Data Transformation/ETL techniques, Error Handling, Enterprise Data Services/Service Bus Frameworks, Data Virtualization and Canonical Data Model applied within an Event Driven Architecture (EDA).
