Construction Surveillance Technician - MD with Security Clearance

Job Description:
The Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) will be responsible for the following;o Provide basic physical security in accordance with Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) policies and Intelligence Community Standard (ICS) 705-1, -Physical and Technical Standards for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities).o Conduct surveillance and understand the construction trades to closely monitor all construction activities and materials to ensure the security integrity of the buildingo Inspect, detect and report any unauthorized technical penetrations and thwart implanted clandestine technical collection deviceso Work closely with the assigned Government Site Security Manager (SSM) to ensure all established security policies and procedures are followedo Supplement site security access controls implement screening and inspection procedures and monitor uncleared construction personnel in accordance with the Construction Security Plan (CSP)o Conduct inspections of Protected Distribution System (PDS) and report any anomalies to the SSMo Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
o Minimum High School diploma or GED requiredo Must be a U.Scitizeno Minimum of three years- experience in the construction industry with knowledge of two or more of the following disciplines:
o Carpentry (rough-in, finish) o Electricity o Plumbing o HVAC o Sheet Metal o Welding o Dry Wall o Masonryo Read, speak and, understand English language fluentlyo Ability to complete written reports and formso Provide excellent customer service skillsLocation:

Must possess an active Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and polygraph; TS/SCI with polygraphPhysical Requirements:
The Construction Surveillance Technician must have the ability to:
o Ability to stand/sit and walk for long periods of timeo Stand for 8 hours or longer.o Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions including extreme heat, extreme cold, humidity and various other adverse weather conditions for extended periods of time.o This position may require lifting (up to 20 lbs.), standing, walking, siting, and bending throughout the workday.o Need to be able to walk across uneven surfaces of a construction site, climb ladders, and able to frequently go up and down stairs.
