Responsibilities Peraton is seeking an experienced Cyberspace Operations Engineer to join our USCYBERCOM team located in Fort Meade, MDIn this role you will:
o Support cybersecurity efforts required for delivery of Mission Assurance (MA) products as part of the effort to facilitate, evaluate, and report cyberspace operations.
Provide planning, policy, requirements, and integration support for cyber capabilities and identify opportunities for mission enhancement.
Update and report on the status of assigned Workflow Management System (WMS) tasks.
Participate in technical working groups and discussions to influence recommendations to cyberspace mission assurance strategy.
Research, design, develop, and implement proof of concept data protection solutions to address vulnerabilities.
Assist with the implementation and evaluation of industry security solutions to identify products and technologies to support cybersecurity operations.
Maintain in-depth knowledge in IT standards, protocols, and evaluates products against the customer's operational requirements.
o Conduct research that focuses on rapidly evolving cyber threats and cyber adversary TTPs and develops strategies to improve the readiness and defensive posture of the DODIN.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define strategies in support of capabilities related to Defense Critical Missions.
Assist in the development of DODIN plans and policies supporting cyberspace operations and emerging technologies.
Support and participate in operational and strategic level Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) efforts within the directorate.
Codify across the enterprise a common Mission Relevant Terrain in Cyberspace (MRT-C) program based on DoD Mission Assurance guidance.
Monitor Commander's Critical Readiness Inspection (CCRI) mitigation status to include identification of key issues and priorities affecting the defense of the DODIN.
Characterize and identify DOD tasks Task Critical Assets(TCA) assigned to USCYBERCOM to assist in informing decisions on resource allocation and prioritization of effort.
Assist in the evaluation of industry offerings to identify products and technologies as well as troubleshoots and problem solve technical and non-technical issues.
Analyze threat and vulnerability reports and make recommendations to subordinate HQs in support of strategic Cybersecurity Operations.
Provide cyberspace and mission assurance support necessary for development of cyberspace CONOPs, Annual campaign Orders, and SOPs.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
o Minimum of Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Cyberspace Operations Engineer or related functional area.
Demonstrated excellent communications skills, strong attention to detail and organizational skills; strong analytical and problem solving skills.
o Minimum DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IAM Level II Certification.

Scitizenship and an active TS/SCI w/Polygraph.
Desired:
o Experience providing substantive updates and briefs orally and in writing to senior leadership concerning cybersecurity operations Thorough knowledge of DODIN operations, U.
Scyberspace operations community architecture, and potential defensive capabilities for countering cyber threats Demonstrated understanding of cyberspace operations and mission assurance related subject matter.
Experience facilitating DOD working groups and participating in DOD component level tabletop exercises.
