Responsibilities:
- We are looking for a leader to take responsibility for synchronizing survey data, digital models, grade control equipment and layout support for operations and cost accounting.
- Work includes verify existing conditions, prepare project controls, and installation of GPS modeling for projects.
- Use Trimble GPS and other surveying equipment to accurately measure and record distances, angles, and elevations - Assist with layout preparation - Inspect and maintain surveying equipment, ensuring proper functioning and calibration - Collaborate with engineers, and construction teams to provide accurate survey data for project planning and development - Assist with training of field personnel in the use of various layout tools.
Requirements:
- We work in high level security environments, US Citizenship and Clean Criminal record required.
- Proven experience working as a Land Surveyor or similar role - Proficient in using surveying equipment such as GPS devices, total stations, and hand tools - Knowledge of drafting software such as AutoCAD - Familiarity with land surveying techniques and principles - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and calculations - Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions and terrains Note:
