Aquatic Coordinator Manages daily operation of multiple pool locations including scheduling and supervising lifeguarding staff, maintaining facilities, and ensuring compliance with contracts as well as all Federal, State and local laws and health and safety requirements; serves as a liaison between HSP team members and clients Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Oversees the daily operation of assigned pool locations including safety of the facility patrons 2.
Supervises lifeguard staff and enforces all facility, company and American Red Cross policies, procedures and 3.
regulations 4.
Timely assists Assistant Division Manager in completing schedules to meet contractual obligations and company 5.
standards of overtime; responsible for on time schedule distribution to lifeguard staff 6.
Instructs and trains employees on the expectations and responsibilities of the position; 7.
Supervises and assists with the general care and cleaning of the facility as well as the routine maintenance and minor repair of equipment 8.
Responsible for administrative duties such as employee records, incident reports, service proposals, purchases and daily updates of operational logs, reports, and statistical record-keeping 9.
Conducts regular safety checks and routine inspections of facilities and staff 10.
Responsible for delivering inspection reports and timesheets within established deadlines 11.
Assists the swimming lessons coordinator in developing, implementing, scheduling and promoting the swimming lessons program 12.
Responsible for on-time ordering and delivery of supplies and chemicals at the facilities 13.
Participates in weekly meetings with the Division Manager; 14.
Performs all duties of a lifeguard 15.
Responsible for remaining rescue-ready at all times and performing or training professional rescuer duties as needed, remaining current in all skills 16.
Timely response to any reported emergency situations 17.
Performs other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises 10-60 employees in the assigned area.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems Work Environment:

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Aquatics Coordinators must already possess or be able to obtain American Red Cross Lifeguard and Pool Operator certification.
Prior commercial pool management, aquatics, sports coaching, or other relevant experience supervising teams is preferred.
A driver's license and safe driving record are required.
Job Training:
High Sierra Aquatic Coordinator training includes an aquatic management seminar and American Red Cross Lifeguard Management Certification.
Aquatic Coordinators participate in weekly meetings with their Division Managers for regular coaching and feedback on area operations.
Pay:
$20/, depending on experience.
