Digital Media Forensics Analyst, Sr. with Security Clearance

Jacobs is seeking experienced Digital Media Forensics Analysts to support the U.SArmy with CI and CT investigationsAnalysts will combine computer science with forensic skills to recover information from computers and storage devices to recover data (e.gdocuments, photos, and e-mails) from computer hard drives and other data storage devices that have been deleted, damaged, or otherwise manipulatedAnalysts use forensic tools and investigative methods to find specific electronic data; hunt for files and information that have been hidden, deleted or lost; help customer officials analyze data and evaluate its relevance; create detailed notes on processes undertaken; and develop intelligence-based reporting
Responsibilities:
o Perform all phases of the forensic examination of digital media, including on-site and off-site evidence acquisition/seizures, forensic analysis, and reporting, ensuring chain of custody is maintained and that applicable rules of evidence are adhered too Provide support for incident response activities, intrusion events, and malware analysis o Research, design, deploy, and lead training eventso Evaluate emerging forensic technologieso Provide operational security assessments and support cyber forensic and cyber security taskso Protect computers from infiltration, determine how a computer was broken into, and recover lost fileso Provide testing and evaluation of emerging trends in digital forensics software and hardware and assist in developing new and innovative forensic processes and procedureso Support forensics deliverables including CI, CT, HUMINT or Technical Analysis AARs; Intelligence Capabilities, Framework and Architecture Assessments; Threat Intelligence Briefings; CI or HUMINT Policy Analysis; Threat and Vulnerability Assessments; and Analytical Information Reports#divergent Here's what you'll need:
o Must possess DoD Certified Digital Forensic Examiner (DFE) certificationo Must possess a digital forensic certification, such as Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE), GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE), or EnCase Certified Examinero Certification through the International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners (ISFCE) or the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS) is preferred o Master's Degree in relevant disciplineo US government clearance:
Current Top Secret/SCI o Minimum 20 years relevant experience; with at least a portion of experience within the past 2 yearso Minimum 2 years of mobile device forensics experienceo Minimum 2 years of host-based forensic experience. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
