Summary:
This position will provide leadership for defensive cyber operations activities and will be expected to actively engage with a variety of customers and mission partners, anticipating their needs, and delivering flawlessly.
This position is 100% on-site Monday - Friday 40-hour work weeks.
Responsibilities:
-Experience setting up ACL's and DMZ's-You'll apply your knowledge in routing and switching, integration of encryption gear, network design and architecture, system interoperability, IP engineering, network transport layers, multi-protocol label switching, gateway protocol, virtual routing, and forwarding as you join our team of problem-solvers to help the DoD evolve and deploy new capabilities and technologies-Develop, execute, and track the performance of security measures to protect information and network infrastructure and computer systems.
-Design computer security strategy and engineer comprehensive cybersecurity architecture.
-Identify, define and document system security requirements and recommend solutions to management.
-Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware.
-Install software that monitors systems and networks for security breaches and intrusions.
-Monitor systems for irregular behavior and set up preventive measures.
-Plan, develop, implement, and update company's information security strategy.
-Educate and train staff on information system security best practices.
-Analyze high volumes of logs, network data (e.
gNetflow, PCAP), and other attack artifacts in support of incident investigations
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline and 8
years of professional experience; additional related years of experience is accepted in lieu of a degree-Must have a DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security
CE or equivalent) to start and able to obtain CSSP-A certification within 180 days of start date-Proficient understanding of Cyber Network Defense (CND) in regard to protect, detect, respond and sustain within a Computer Incident Response organization-Advanced understanding of TCP/IP, common networking ports and protocols, traffic flow, system administration, OSI model, defense-in-depth, and common security elements-Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance Recommended Skills Architecture Cryptography Information Systems Leadership Multi Protocol Network Planning And Design Apply to this job.
