Responsibilities:
With minimum guidance provide top-level technical expertise, including performing in-depth and complex software systems programming and analysis.
As the Lead, instruct, provide technical direction, and check the work of other task personnel and ensure milestones, customer requirements and project deliverables are met and delivered on time.
Conduct systems engineering and requirements analysis to support the evaluation of current and estimation of future DoD needs for military and commercial SATCOM space segment and ground infrastructure.
Determine and identify high level functional and technical requirements based on interactions with the DoD SATCOM user community and knowledge of the enterprise architecture.
Consolidate and review requirements and prepare summaries to ensure compatibility between user segment and ground infrastructure and to support the evaluation of architectural alternatives (space and ground segments), industry proposals, and new technologies.
Provide functional and technical requirements supportability and engineering analysis deliverables and recommendations in support of DoD SATCOM Optimization initiatives.
Support the development of engineering artifacts supporting the Department's vision of the DoD SATCOM architecture.
Support system performance evaluation including throughput, response time, operational requirements, and system loading of DoD SATCOM users supported on military and commercial SATCOM.
Design architectures to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
and ensure these systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for open systems and DoD architectures.
Provide technical expertise and advice to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), working groups (WGs), and other organizations, attend meetings, consolidate, and brief analysis results, and develop meeting summaries.
Experience/
Qualifications:
MA/MS with at least 15 years of experience.
5
years of experience in satellite systems engineering with end-to-end satellite communications systems and networks, including SATCOM terminals and gateways, modems, radio frequency subsystems, IP networks, and mobile wireless technologies.
Experience in the DoD SATCOM community; DISA experience a plus.
Knowledge of DoD policies governing acquisition and communication systems and networks.
Experience providing strategic technical recommendations to senior-level customers and program managers, including authoring analytical, architecture, and engineering products such as whitepapers, analysis reports, or briefings.
Experience advising clients on innovative approaches to a unique functional problem, and performing functional analysis, requirements analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, and business case analysis.
Expertise in Systems and communications engineering, and requirements analysis to support the estimation of future DoD needs for military and commercial SATCOM.
Recommended Skills Architecture Case Analysis Communication Consulting Enterprise Architectures Functional Design Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
