Systems Engineer to join our team, where you'll be at the forefront of innovation and technical excellence.
As a Systems Engineer, you'll be the driving force behind analyzing user requirements, crafting operational concepts, and molding high-level system architectures into reality.
Your expertise will be pivotal in developing system requirements specifications, leading design and development activities, and providing invaluable technical leadership for seamless integration of requirements, design, and technology.
Responsibilities:
o Architectural Mastery:
Manage system requirements, ensuring the delivery of production systems that seamlessly align with defined architectural frameworks such as the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and Service-oriented Architecture (SOA).
o Documentation Maestro:
Contribute to the development of top-notch systems engineering documentation, from System Engineering Plans to Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
o Requirements Wizardry:
Assist in the development of system and functional requirements, and skillfully allocate them to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
o Innovative Design:
Develop ingenious system design solutions that not only meet requirements but also fulfill functional analyses, pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
o Strategic Planning:
Define methods, processes, and evaluation criteria for verifying systems, subsystems, and work products against their requirements in a comprehensive written plan.
o Risk Assessment Maven:
Assess and quantify program risks, determining the probability of occurrence and consequences of failure in alignment with an approved risk management plan.
o Certification Guru:
Support planning and test analysis of the DoD Certification/Accreditation Process and other Government Certification and Accreditation (C&A) processes.
o Technical Visionary:
Provide technical direction for the development, engineering, and testing of complex hardware/software systems, overseeing everything from requirements elicitation to end-to-end flow analysis.
Qualifications:
o Hold an active Full Scope Polygraph clearance.
o Bring at least fourteen (14) years of experience as a Systems Engineer to the table.
o Possess a Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
Alternatively, showcase five (5) additional years of SE experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
