NEC SE&I - Systems Architect (Modeling & Analysis) with Security Clearance
Apogee is actively seeking a full-time Systems Architect supporting US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) at FtMeade, MDWhy work with us? What you will be doing:
o Collaborating with information engineers to establish system information requirements for NC3 enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems.
o Designing NC3 architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
o Evaluating problems of workflows, organization, and planning and developing appropriate corrective action.
o Incorporating reference models and profiles of standards into specifications for Information Management solutions.
o Provide system engineering expertise to evaluate and ensure upgrades, integration, test, transformation efforts of NC3/NLCC systems and sub-components are executed as planned.
o Assess the NC3/National Leadership Command Capability (NLCC) systems and sub-component's ability meet the mission requirements and operate as designed.
o Assess the NLCC/NC3 architecture using computer simulations and models to evaluate how well communications work in a benign and stressed nuclear environment; generate reports and briefs using the results.
o Conduct mission engineering studies to guide decisions focused on the end-to-end mission to identify new or enhanced capabilities and provide impacts of performance levels on NC3 system of systems.
o Documenting the action of the study (i.
eTOR), recommending (and coordinating with) study participants, setting up and facilitating meeting, defining timeline and deliverablesWhat you will need:
o Security Clearance Required - Top Secret with SCI Eligibility o One of the following education/experience combinations:
o Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar technical field plus 5 years' relevant experience in systems architecture, including establishing requirements, design, and ensuring interoperability for information management systems or enterprises ORo 11
years relevant experience, including 5 years' experience in systems architecture, including establishing requirements, design, and ensuring interoperability for information management systems or enterprises o Working knowledge of International Standards Organization (ISO) and Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) reference modelso Ability to work well within a team and to execute tasks independentlyo Strong written and oral communication skillso Strong command of MS Office suite tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointo NC3 experience (desired)

o The base pay for this position ranges from $88,500 to $132,500 across the U.
SThere is a different range applicable for specific work locationsBase pay is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, training and education.
