Software Tester (TS/SCI/FS Poly) with Security Clearance

Responsibilities:
o Develops and implements quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures in a large computer-based organization.
o Develops and executes software test plans to identify software problems and their causes.
o Establishes and maintains a process for evaluating hardware, software, and associated documentation and/or assists in the evaluation.
o Conducts and/or participates in formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the development life cycleo Assist the sponsor in the evaluation of software and associated documentation.
o Collaborate with field staff or customers to evaluate or diagnose problems and recommend possible solutions.
o Conduct historical analyses of test results.
o Conduct software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems, or network environments.
o Coordinate user or third -party testing.
o Create or maintain databases of known test defects.
o Design or develop automated testing tools.
o Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
o Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
o Evaluate or recommend software for testing or bug tracking.
o Identify program deviance from standards and suggest modifications to ensure compliance.
o Install and configure recreations of software production environments to allow testing of software performance.
o Install, maintain, or use software testing programsJob Requirements:
o 8
years of experience.
o Experience would Ruby programming language.
o Bachelor's Degree in CS or relatedo TS/SCI with FSP clearance.
