Responsibilities Peraton is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) Cyberspace Operations Engineer to join our USCYBERCOM team located on-site in Fort Meade, MD.
In this role you will:
Support the development of Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) efforts required to support delivery of Cybersecurity Operations initiatives.
Ensure capabilities meet the intent of the development objective or capability of the program.
Support evaluation and building of DoD environments as it relates to lifecycle of mission-critical information, communication technology, equipment, software, products, materials, and services.
Develop Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and procedures to ensure operational requirements are met.
Advise and coordinate with stakeholders to assist with consolidation of findings, recommendations, and requests for action.
Participate in working groups and other related events and evaluate new network technologies.
Provide subject matter expertise to facilitate interoperability and integration of information technologies for mission assurance activities.
Support projects requiring Risk Management Framework (RMF) related policies and procedures and manages the short-and long-term needs of USCYBERCOM Cybersecurity operations support functions.
Contribute to USCYBERCOM mission and direction in helping improve technical practices.
Conduct research that focuses on rapidly evolving cyber threats and cyber adversary TTPs and develops strategies to improve the readiness and defensive posture of the DODIN.
Provide cyberspace operations and mission assurance support necessary for development of CONOPs, Annual campaign Orders, and SOPs.
Analyze, identify, and resolve Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) issues to ensure optimum performance throughout the DOD enterprise.
Provide unique area of expertise when communicating the benefits of specific tool and capabilities.
Review current and pertinent technology, as well as identify and recommend strategic direction based on rapidly evolving technical changes and advancements.
Assist in the evaluation of industry offerings to identify products and technologies as well as troubleshoot and problem solve technical and non-technical issues.
Analyze threat and vulnerability reports and make recommendations to subordinate HQs in support of strategic Cybersecurity Operations.
#COSS Qualifications Required:
Minimum of Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related (STEM) discipline and 10 years of relevant experience.
An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Demonstrated excellent communications skills; strong attention to detail and organizational skills; strength in analytical and problem solving skills.
Minimum of DoD 8140/DoD 8570 IAM Level III Certification.

citizenship An active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance.
Desired:
Possess an understanding of cyberspace operations and mission assurance related subject matter.
Experience facilitating DoD working groups and participating in DoD component level tabletop exercises.
Experience working with RMF and SCRM programs.
Military background and knowledge of DODIN operations, U.
S.
cyberspace operations community architecture, and potential defensive capabilities for countering cyber threats.
Experience supporting executive level engagements, i.

, boards, committees and/or working groups.
Target Salary Range $146,000 - $234,000.
This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
