MetaTech Consulting, Inc (MTC) is hiring a Windows Development Systems Administrator - Mid-Career (TS/SCI & FSP) for a full-time onsite role in Fort Meade, Maryland
Responsibilities:
o Provide systems administration support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
o Aiding users in accessing and using assigned IT systems, implementing security patches in conjunction with customer policies and standards.
o Responsible for building, implementing, and maintaining various tasks involved with a MS Windows-managed development environment and maintaining a virtual lab environment keeping all in compliance with the customer's current security requirementsExperience Required:
o Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university and five (5) years' experience as an SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is requiredFive (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
o DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAT) Level I or higher is required.

o Computer Network Operations - Must have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in Modern operating systems and network architectureso Information Assurance - Must have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in certification and accreditationArchitecture development and designRisk AssessmentsIA Metrics gathering.
o Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraphExperience Desired:
o Knowledge of the customer's STE/STN requirements and maintenance processes and procedures.
o Demonstrated SA experience in Tier1 and Tier 2 maintenance on networks using Windows and VMS operating systems.
o Experience with virtual environments using vSphere, vCloud and VMwareo Knowledge of Nessus and comparable scanning tools and how to manage / resolve the vulnerabilities exposed by the software.
o Firm understanding of active directory roles and least privilege.
o Demonstrated experience in installing, upgrading, and maintaining Linux based systems using iDracs, VMware and YUM repositories.
o Helpdesk experience.
o SOP and Procedure development.
o Ability to explain technical subjects to non-technical audiencesKey words:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
