Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a Systems Engineer within a commutable distance from Fort.
Meade, MD.
This is a hybrid opportunity (onsite and some telework).

Citizen and hold an Active/Current DoD Secret clearance.
Must hold active Security
certification or be able to obtain within the first 90 days of employment This person will:
Have diverse experience providing Linux Systems engineering, test and integration, fielding and operations support, security analysis and design for numerous government contracts, including Cross Domain Enterprise Services.
Support a team of twelve cross-domain system engineers and developers to oversee filter and deployment projects Manage concurrent filter projects to ensure that all aspects of the projects including, requirement gathering, development, configuration, testing, and installation occurred successfully and on schedule Work directly with the customers to help ensure their filter projects are proceeding through the Cross Domain Process Install, configure, test, and deploy the High Speed Guard (HSG) servers at several operational sites.
Initiate the process of migrating over fifty operational flows to the newly tested and deployed systems.
Work with operations team to help troubleshoot technical issues in the field Write Administrator, User and Standard Operating Procedures to assist administrators of the system Oversee the design and development of several new deployment projects to continue meeting Raise the Bar (RTB) for the cross-domain environment to include future deployments of High Speed Guard (HSG), Radiant Mercury (RM), Trusted Guard Solutions (TGS), and the Diode deployments Develop and maintain the Engineering and Test Environments to simulate the operation environmentsWrites admin and users guides for installation, operating, and troubleshooting the cross domain systems Develop and executed monitoring and metrics collection for reporting ingress and egress rates of products flowing in and out of the operational system Led, planned and executed V&V of outstanding external interface requirements and external interfaces not directly mapped to requirements.
Support updates to requirements, test and/ or documentation as needed related to external interfaces.
Worked with Interface and Integration team to validate all external interfaces.
Oversaw development of Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Reports and Performance Verification Matrix (PVM) for each work assignment for verification and validation activities Security Testing and Analysis used to verify and validate that the as built systems meet the security controls required by the customer Requirement Analysis including deriving low-level requirements (SRS) from High level requirements (SRD) and further deriving the low-level requirements into evaluation criteria Develop schedules and resource assignment for Integration and Test activities inQualifications BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2 Must have active/current fully adjudicated DoD Secret Clearance Security
(will have to obtain within the first 90 days of employment) Experience providing Linux Systems engineering, test and integration, fielding and operations support, security analysis and design for numerous government contracts, for DISAs Cross Domain Enterprise Services Develop shell scripts for automation of software installation Installed, configured, and maintained Test Environments Write Software Test Plans and Test Procedures, Use Cases, System Administration Manuals, User Manuals, Installation, and Configuration Guides for software releases Executed software and systems testing for both ESPDS and DoD projects Develop automated test scripts using SOAtest, JMeter, and SoapUI to simulate Web service calls to various search, publishing, and messaging based systems Conduct performance and load-based testing for both ESPDS and DoD projects Liaison between Solers and Government Acceptance Testing (GAT)

Target Salary Range $66,000 - $106,000.
This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
