Summary:
George Consulting is actively seeking a Project Manager to join our growing team.
This position is instrumental in supporting the U.
S Fleet Cyber Command U.
S.
Tenth Fleet (FCC / FLTCYBERCOM) at NIWC LANT in Charleston, SC.
Roles and
Responsibilities:
The Project Manager responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
o Develops and maintains the detailed program schedule in accordance with the customer's scheduling processes and guidelines.
o Responsible for Project Schedule Baseline and Project Schedule Updates contract deliverables.
o Responsible for working with customer to incorporate the Project Schedule Updates into the customer's Integrated Master Schedule.
o Maintain Program Integrated Master Scheduleo Coordinates across the Integrated Project Team (IPT) to develop and status schedule tasks.
o Provides IPT leadership and other stakeholders with schedule briefings on a periodic timeline.
o Regularly review project status and adjust plans as needed to meet objectives.
o Utilize advanced project management tools and software to track progress and manage resources effectively.
o Schedule and conduct regular project reviews and update meetings.
o Ensure all project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
o Implement rigorous testing and validation processes to verify the integrity and functionality of deliverables.
o Monitor and manage project performance metrics to ensure objectives are being met.
o Continuously assess project outcomes against predefined benchmarks and make necessary adjustments.
Qualifications:
o Prior military experience.
o Strong leadership skills; ability to deal with strong personalities.
o PMI's Project Management Professional (PMP) credential.
o Experience with Milestones Pro and/or Jira.
o Managing Program and Projects with Project Server Exam 74-344.
o Managing Projects with Microsoft Project Exam 74-343.
Qualificationso Bachelor's degree and five (5) years or more of related experience; Master's and four (4) years or more of related experience; Additional four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree.
o Minimum of five (5) years' experience in development of Project or Program Schedules using Microsoft Project.
o Ability to travel 20%.
o Top Secret with SCI Eligibility walking in the door.
