The Project Engineer 2 provides technical & administrative information to others working on a project to ensure that the work complies with all general engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instruction; trouble-shoots engineering related installation problemsDevelops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexityResponsible for:
o Planning and executing project completion and punch list.
o Preparing specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.
o Preparing invoices.
o Submitting O&M manuals.
o Assisting in development of full estimate.
o Participate in KPR (Key Project Review).
o Managing coordination & detailing logs & schedule.
o Managing schedule updates.
o Managing productivity reports.
o Identifying value added solutions & cost savings methodsEducation &
Qualifications:
o 2-4 years of experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (preferably from an ABET accredited program)o 0-2 years of experience with a MS/MAo Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance as required for the projectAbilitieso Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.
o Sitting for extended periods of time.
o Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.
o Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.
o Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
o Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
o Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
o Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
o Identify and understand the speech of another person.
