Required:
Eight (8) years demonstrated systems administration experience administering user accounts; performing server subsystem configuration, network management, installation of software, backups, configuration management, and general system maintenance; and providing input to the design of the organizations systems and mission architecture. A Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems or related discipline may be substituted for four (4) years of experience, or a Master of Science degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems or related discipline may be substituted for six (6) years experience.
Four (4) years combined experience in system administration, which shall have been obtained within the last six (6) years.
Six (6) years combined experience in each of the following:
a) system backup/restore procedures,
b) system security practices,
c) system tuning,
d) user administration,
e) software and hardware installation and maintenance,
f) file management and system troubleshooting,
g) operating systems (e.g., Windows, Unix/Solaris, LINUX) and storage filers (e.g., NetApp, Isolon),
h) system accreditation support,
i) system configurations, and
j) Vmware and virtualization.
Unix Systems Administration (Linux, Solaris), experience administering user accounts, performing server subsystem configuration, network management, installation of software, performing backups, configuration management and general system maintenance and an understanding of fundamental networking and distributed computing environment concepts, and the ability to write simple Shell scripts.
Shall have strong customer service, organizational skills, preferred knowledge of applicable Gov policies and procedures.
Shall have experience in updating and maintaining web pages. (Apache, Tomcat).
Shall have knowledge of query syntax, data flows and of how to manipulate traffic. (MySql)
Shall have demonstrated in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems.
Shall have demonstrated work experience providing detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
Also Required:
Demonstrated proficiency in administering the Linux Operating System, VMWare, and Windows Operating System.
Strong understanding of basic Window's functions to include account administration, Active Directory, file sharing, and other common administrative activities.
Candidates must have experience with Customer Service and have experience using common monitoring tools and Help Desk ticket systems- SolarWinds and SysAid ticketing experience is desired.
The candidate must be willing to work in a mission critical essential position supporting 24x7 continuous operations.
Desired:
Experience using power shell scripting, working knowledge of Niagara Files and DDS.
Experience with CentOS, Openstack, and the Zabbix monitoring tool.
Security Clearance: TS/SCI and a Full Scope Polygraph are required for consideration.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
